How WaveSphere Approaches Content Quality and Trust
Internet radio sites get accused of being “thin” when they only wrap third-party streams in ads. WaveSphere’s position is different: the product value is the player and discovery UX, and the written value is documentation, guides, and honest ownership language. This page records that approach.
What is original here
- The player experience: globe, EQ, sleep timer, Car Mode, podcasts mode, mobile dock.
- Guides written for real failure modes and India listening habits.
- Public docs, owner page, privacy/terms, AI fact file (llms.txt).
What is not original (and we say so)
Station audio, most metadata, podcast episode files. Those belong to broadcasters and publishers. We do not claim them in copyright or branding.
How we reduce low-value patterns
- Expand or noindex weak template landing pages.
- Prefer fewer deep guides over hundreds of empty tag pages.
- Keep homepage explanatory text for humans and crawlers.
- Avoid fake listener counts and fake “live” badges.
Maintenance
Directories rot. We rely on blocklists, reports, and user favorites rather than pretending the catalogue is perfectly curated every hour. Structural maintenance means shipping UX fixes, docs updates, and removing harmful URLs when reported.
