Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

By accessing or using WaveSphere (the website, player, and related admin tools), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

WaveSphere is an independent platform for discovering and listening to live radio streams and optional exclusive local playlists. Station metadata and stream links are largely aggregated from third-party sources. WaveSphere is not the broadcaster of most stations you hear.

2. Acceptable use

3. Third-party content and station ownership

Radio stations, their brands, programming, and streams belong to their respective operators and rights holders. WaveSphere links to or embeds publicly listed stream endpoints when available. We do not claim to hold broadcast licenses for those stations.

Availability of any station can change without notice. Geo-blocking, DRM, or station-side restrictions may prevent playback in some locations.

4. Exclusive / local content

Where WaveSphere hosts original playlists or files under its own project folders, those materials remain subject to whatever licenses apply to the files as provided. Do not redistribute project assets in ways that violate applicable law or rights.

5. Accounts and admin responsibilities

If you have access to login, dashboard, or admin tools, you must:

We may disable accounts that compromise the service.

6. Intellectual property

WaveSphere branding, original UI design, and original documentation are protected as applicable. Third-party marks and station names remain with their owners. See also the Copyright & Removal page.

7. External services

The product depends on external APIs, CDNs, Firebase, hosting, and station servers. Outages or policy changes at those providers can affect WaveSphere. Optional AI features require keys and terms of those providers.

8. Availability and changes

The service is provided “as is.” Features may be added, changed, or removed. Maintenance mode may temporarily limit the public player. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every listed stream will play.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WaveSphere and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or listening continuity arising from use of the service or from third-party streams. Total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the prior twelve months (which is typically zero for the free public player).

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the operators against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your admin actions, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access (including admin) for violations of these terms, security risk, or legal requirements. You may stop using the service at any time.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the project operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.

13. Contact
